At National Car Charging, it’s in our DNA to give back. We believe it’s critical to support causes within our community and beyond. In our eyes, it is especially important to give to organizations empowering and elevating our future generations. NCC proudly gives to many local and national causes with several in our home town of Denver, Colorado including:
Food Bank of the Rockies, The Alliance Center, Girl Athletic Leadership School (GALS Denver), George Washington High School Food Bank, North High School Swim Team, No Kid Hungry, Red Fern Animal Rescue & The Nature Conservancy.
National Car Charging also supports the passion and hard work of the Hawai’i Community Foundation on behalf of our subsidiary Aloha Charge. A sincere thank you to HCF for their unwavering commitment to Hawai’i and for supporting the many affected by the Lahaina fire on Maui.
Climate change & our kids. Let's face it - we're all impacted by outdoor air pollution and climate change. But it's our kids with the most at risk. We take this very seriously. That's why we're committed to supporting the next generation of learners and have made a point to invest time and dollars to the kids in our communities.
Investing money & more importantly, time. NCC has contributed thousands in monetary donations and essential supplies to local food banks, schools, and community organizations both in our home state of Colorado and across the country. We consider it our duty and honor to make a positive impact on the world around us.
What's equally important to us is giving back our time and our team is highly dedicated to volunteering at local schools.
Jim Burness, our CEO, takes part in equity and fundraising committees at his daughter's high school, in addition to being a speech and debate judge.
Our CMO, Margaret-Ann Leavitt, serves as the interim chair for the board of directors for Colorado's only all-girls public school.
Cheryl Alspach, our Director of Ops, is always available to support her daughter's swim team, as well as lend a helping hand whenever required.
This spirit of volunteerism is reflected throughout our team, with many actively participating in activities such as soccer coaching, promoting environmental education in classrooms, and involvement in Rotary's Interact program.
