Charge Ahead Colorado Grant

What is Charge Ahead Colorado?

National Car Charging is the best provider when if comes to the Charge Ahead Colorado Grant Program.

Charge Ahead Colorado (CAC) is designed to incentivize widespread charging infrastructure throughout Colorado. Since its inception in 2013, CAC has made awards for 2,000+ EV charging stations across the state.

The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) and Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) jointly administer the CAC electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure grant program. Grants are available for EVs and community-based Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations. The Program is designed to improve air quality, encourage deployment of EVs across the state and support the implementation of the Colorado Electric Vehicle Plan 2020. Since its inception in 2013, the Charge Ahead Colorado program has made awards for more than 1000 EV charging stations across the state.

  • We are local. Many of the providers on the CAC list don't have formal offices or full-time employees in CO. We pride ourselves on being headquartered in Denver and have a full team of professionals - from sales to customer service - dedicated specifically to Colorado because it’s our home too.

  • We only offer the best products. We partner only with manufacturers best positioned to go the distance. NCC carries many distinct, highly vetted EV charging product lines, giving our customers the ability to choose from a range of features and price options. All of the products we carry are UL/Intertek listed and manufactured by financially stable and growing companies who are innovation leaders with a proven track record. In other words, if we don’t carry it, there’s a good reason.

  • We have the experience to make your project easy. With 12 years in the industry and over 11,000 ports installed across 48 states (including over 3000 ports in Colorado), we've seen just about everything and we know how to make your project as easy as possible.

  • NOTE: With an industry growing as fast as EV charging, new companies with no experience are popping up every day and the CAC program list has no requirements to be listed as a provider.

National Car Charging is the best provider when if comes to the CAC Grant Program.

  • We are "installer agnostic." What does that mean? Simply, it means we are flexible when it comes to installation. If you want us to bring an experienced installer to the project, we can do that, but we are also happy to work with your favorite electrician if you have one.

  • We’re in business to make a real difference. We are committed to protecting the earth and our kids’ futures and are extremely proud to be the only ChargePoint partner on the Colorado state contract that does not profit from the continued burning of fossil fuels.

  • We are happy to consult with you BEFORE the grant application. Not sure where to start or what you need? Don't hesitate to call us before you apply. We are happy to consult with you and even do a site visit prior to submitting your application.
